Erik Løkra (NO)



Erik Løkra attended The Norwegian Academy of Music. Of the many musical projects one to mention is Eriks three recordings with The Jono El Grande Orchestra, to great international acclaim, on the famous Rune Grammofon label Erik released his album "Malerens Testamente" in 2010, with poet Steinar Enerly, on the Fleed Music label. Other projects contain several TV appearances, theater plays, and releases, amongst others with Pistolpuma. Since 2009, Erik has been part of a band regularly playing jazz at Grand Cafe in Oslo.

Another side of his musical projects is his works with several of Norways best DJs and producer of electronic dance music DJs, like Pistolpuma, John Moss, Phaxx, Daniel Ortega, etc, Erik Løkra has become one of the most commonly used saxophonists on the Oslo club scene. Amongst the sites he frequently plays, is La Belle Sole, Soliis, Barbeint, Emil & Samuel, Apen Bar, Latter, and Oak.
